I designed this artwork to be a subtle and classy way to show that you’re a fan of Parks and Recreation. Only fellow Parks and Recs fans will be able to appreciate your fandom, while outsiders will simply think this is a cool, retro travel poster. One of my favorite episodes of Parks and Rec takes place during Season 6, when Ann & Chris leave the town of Pawnee (Season 6, Episode 12). The episode really showcases the deep and meaningful friendships that have formed over the course of the show, and my favorite shot of the series is when the camera pans up and you see a bird’s eye view of their beloved town, Pawnee. This poster was inspired by that scene, including my interpretation of the park that was finally built in Lot 48, otherwise known as the Sullivan Street Pit. As little easter eggs, look for the Pawnee City Hall in town, as well as the park water fountain dedicated to Li’l Sebastian! Your poster will be printed on 100lb weight paper. The sizes offered (11×17″, 18×24″ and 24×36″ inches) makes this artwork very easy to frame because most stores already stock poster frames in those dimensions, and as you can see from the photos, you don’t even need a mat board!
