This listing is for a stained glass suncatcher of the 8 point star quilt pattern design that i made where the points stick out. i used a wispy textured blue and rose purple glass for the 8 points in the center and 1″ x 1″ clear bevels on the outside. i used the Tiffany style copper foil technique to make it and then applied a black patina to the lead lines to turn them black. There is a wire metal hook soldered on for hanging. The suncatcher approx. measures 5 1/2″ from point to point. This suncatcher can be purchased with or without an extra-large 2 1/2″ suction cup. However, using suction cups on glass can be risky due to failure. Make sure to clean the glass well, slightly moisten the suction cup, then press it firmly against the glass surface. Check the suction cup periodically and replace when it shows signs of age.
